Hello everyone! This is a day late as the blitz was yesterday and my stupid scheduling failed on me. I thought I was organised but my technical skills are obviously lacking. Anyway, on with the blog tour!

Release Date: 6th September 2019
So, part of the reason I wanted to review this book so badly is that I work in a school. I have also recently set up a Creative Writing Club and thought OH MY GOD, this is perfect timing.
Now that I have read the book, I am so so glad that I said yes to this! It is a perfect resource to get children’s imaginations going and to get them to actually write! It can be a battle to get any child to write but I feel as though these fun activities will engage even the most reluctant readers/writers.
The language, activities and illustrations are well-suited to children aged 6+ I would say but some of the activities could be slightly modified for even younger children.
Overall, I think this is an amazing resource for teachers everywhere to enhance a child’s love of creative writing and also to parents for a fun 10-minute activity at home!
Lexi Rees writes action-packed adventures for children. As well as the Creative Writing Skills workbook, the first book in The Relic Hunters Series, Eternal Seas, was awarded a “loved by” badge from LoveReading4Kids and is currently longlisted for a Chanticleer award. The sequel, Wild Sky, will be published in November.
When not writing, she’s usually covered in straw or glitter, and frequently both. She also runs a free club for kids designed to encourage a love of reading and writing which you can check out here https://lexirees.co.uk/kidsclub/
Thank you so much for reading my blog tour post and I hope you pick up a copy of this book. A big thank you to the lovely Rachel for setting up this blog tour and allowing me to be part of it!
