This month’s Netflix Addiction recommendation is…
First of all, I loved this series for it’s monarchy, history and bitchiness. Let me give you a bit of background.
It focuses on Mary Queen of Scots who took the Scottish throne as a baby when her father died. However, Henry VIII, her uncle, plotted to have her killed as she was a threat to the English throne because English Catholics believed her to be the rightful heir. So, she was shipped off to France to evade the threat of her uncle and there married Prince Francis Dauphin of France, when she was old enough.
Anyways, I won’t ruin it for you but drama ensues! My favourite character in this series is definitely Catherine De Medici. She is the bomb, seriously amazing and sadistic. Watch this programme just for her!
One gripe that I should bring up about this series is the last episode of the last season and how poo it is. Like I enjoyed the whole series until that episode so just be warned…
