First things first, if you missed it, here is a little info about what Series Crackdown was…
Series Crackdown is a 10-day long readathon running from 26th May – 4th June, where you attempt to read those forgotten unread series on your shelf. It’s a really relaxed readathon to try and tick series off your TBR.
You can join in on Twitter using
#SCReadathon and by posting your TBR anywhere you fancy, blog, Instagram, twitter, youtube anywhere! There will be Twitter sprints under the same hashtag. Enjoy and see you then!
Next, I wanna take a moment to thank my fantastic The Book Club ladies, who came to the rescue and hosted Twitter Sprints for the readathon. You girls are absolutely fabulous, make sure you go and follow them using the links below.
Here is my original TBR for Series Crackdown. I planned on getting the whole ACOTAR series read but would have been glad to finish just one. With that said…
I was halfway through Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor when the readathon started so I decided to finish it off since the sequel is out next year so it’s classed as a series
…kinda. So I managed to finish that mammoth and start reading A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas. I got 219 pages into it!
In conclusion, I read 1 book and a bit! I know for a fact that some of the other participants did a lot better than that. If you would like me to link up your wrap-up below then make sure you comment with the URL or pingback to this post.
Finally, I would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who participated in the very first Series Crackdown. But wait there…
If you’re gutted that you missed this readathon, never fear. The second Series Crackdown is in the works for Summer 2017! Keep your eyes peeled for an announcement on Twitter @SeriesCrackdown very soon.
